I went to Dr. Joseph Buie, MD to speak about my ADHD problem. I have been diagnosed before, and since i now leave in Houston, would have liked a "new" doctor close by. I told Dr. Buie that i have been on Adderall and would like to switch to a generic form ( no more insurance). He instead prescribed Intuniv, a drug for high blood pressure which is also used for ADHD. Upon reaching the pharmacist, i noticed that the side effects were Drowsiness, tiredness and Dizziness!I told the Dr. that this is the exact opposite of what i need. My body is always tired, adding a drug that would increase my tiredness causing me to be VERY unproductive. He got very offended, telling me that i am addicted to Adderall. An addict..Really??? I'v been in houston w/o adderall for about 4 month, and now im an addict. How dare he.It turned out to be that he has no license to prescribed drugs such as adderall, yet he had the audacity to accuse me of being an addict.Never again will i visit that place!
