I am a first time mom and when looking at my childs care options in the area, I was not really pleased with any of them. I found the MSOD and was impressed. I enrolled my daughter and she loved it! This is an environment where she thrived and loved going to school. The teachers were interactive and the facility was very nice. I dont know why it got so many negative reviews. No, you are not allowed to go into the class rooms because they dont allow anyone in the class rooms other than the teachers for security/ sanitary reasons. But you have a huge bay window to view your child through and watch their class. I never had any issues with how she was treated or things she was learning. She did get sick very often but it was her first time in child care and she did not build up her immune system. The school sends out weekly newsletters, pictures and has family nights scheduled at local restaurants. It is run like a school and your child will learn. Not every family is built for the montessori requirement, others might feel better having their child in a day care facility. I wanted my daughter to learn and benefit from being in child care, so this was the perfect facility for us. The only reason why she is at a new facility is because we moved accross town. We both deffidently miss MSOD!
