I have been going to the Salon for a little over 2 years now... I have also taken family and friends who are now hooked on Modern Salon.... there is wait time, but there is always so much going on, time really passes.... You can get a Mani/ Pedi, a Massage, Waxed...... It is well worth it.... Since long has started my hair, I am constantly complimented on the cut and style...... I am very picky when it comes to my hair and am so glad I was pointed in the direction of this place!!!!

I went there last night. Everyone was nice and my hair looked fantastic when they finished. I lived in San Antonio for 2 years and drove back here everytime I needed my hair done. Long always cuts my hair and has always kept it modern looking and stylish. I would never go anywhere else. His new salon is beautiful and he and his wife are just wonderful. I give this place 5 stars.

Igive the salon 5 stars. I was impressed with the customer service and the affordable prices that they have for their services.The salon is a family ran business and everyone is attentive from the moment you step foot in the salon.

They are great at what they do. I see Tony when I go in. He is the only person here in Houston that I've found that cuts my hair right. When I moved to Houston a year ago it took me over 6 months to find anyone that could do my hair right. I'm a woman with very short hair, a pixie cut. Everywhere I went they would either refuse to touch it or just screwed it up. It is apparently very hard to find anyone around here who is good with pixie cuts.



There only down side is the wait. That's the only reason I didn't give then 5 stars. They take walk-ins and appointments so there is often a long wait even if you made an appointment. I don't agree with the fact that they take walk-ins before those who made appointments just because they got there first, but that seems to be the way they do it. You make an appointment so your not waiting in line, but that doesn't seem to matter there. They are defiantly worth the wait though. Just don't be in a hurry when you get there because the wait can be around 2 hours when they're busy.
