The selection is very good and items were in stock. The salesman Andre was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I brought three rooms of furniture and everyone was very knowledgeable and nice. I would recommend this store anyone.

We went in today to buy a mattress. The staff was very knowledgeable about their product. We called them before we went to the showroom to ask a couple of questions. When we got to the showroom we were impressed to discover that they had called the manufacturer of the mattress to ensure they had the most current & correct information about the mattress. Jenny, Scott and the owner, Arnold were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Metropolitan Furniture for value, price and service. We bought two mattresses today!!

BUYER BEWARE...Had table on layaway which I just paid off when We tried to pick it up they tried to give us a scratched up floor model which is unacceptable because we purchased a new table. They said owner will contact me ,Either it will get ordered or store credit was thrown at us which also is unacceptable. 3 days later Owner didn't even have the decency to call me, He had someone call me and say it will be in store credit only period or you can pick something else is how she worded it, you do whatever you have to do. I'm very disappointed.
I've shopped here in the past and hadn't had any issues...but this store credit thing is NOT going to work! I'm given no choice than to pick something else I will never do business with them again!

I moved to the Houston area and needed to find furniture for nearly every room of my house. I looked around at several furniture stores (and put up with some terrible service!) before I was finally recommended to check out Metropolitan. It was the best advice I could have been given as I found everything I was looking for (and even a bit more!). The salesperson who helped me was both friendly and insightful without being pushy at all. After much deliberation, I ended up purchasing a sofa, love seat, dining room table, and full bedroom set, and I could not be happier with my choices. The furniture is all great quality and the prices I ended up paying for them put the other stores that I looked at to shame. Thanks again for all your help, Metropolitan and keep up the great work!!

I dont love shopping for furniture, which is why ever since I moved here I have been looking for a furniture store where I can trust that the prices are great and the staff will treat me well. I am happy to report that after much searching, I have found that place with Metropolitan. I furnished my entire house (my family just moved here from Seattle) at Metropolitan, and I must say that the prices and selection at Metropolitan are just unbeatable. The staff was not hounding, but knew what they were talking about and were ultimately extremely helpful (buying an entire house full of furniture can be overwhelming). But after the savings I experienced and the seamless delivery, I felt obligated to write a review supporting this store. Thanks Metropolitan for making my move to Houston much easier and less expensive.
