This is the second time I've trusted Mendiola Remodeling to make my vision come to life. They renovated my master bathroom with a beautifully tiled shower, custom vanity/cabinets, undermount sinks and granite countertops. They also installed "wood look" porcelain tile in 2 bedrooms. They did an exceptional job and made sure the work was done to my satisfaction. I absolutely love my new bathroom and flooring!! Miguel is very responsive and friendly and he made sure the work was completed by the agreed upon completion date. I will use them for future projects and would recommend them to others in a heartbeat!

We had a HORRIBLE experience with Mendiola Remodeling & Reconstruction and its owner, Miguel Mendiola. We hired this company to complete a large-scale remodeling and repair project for our home but experienced repeated delays and terrible quality of work. In fact, we have had to hire others to repair the mistakes made by Mendiola and his workers. Our estimated completion date was pushed back by more than 3 months (and 8 months later is still less than half-way done) but the owner repeatedly changed his story as to why the delays were happening. The owner asked for payments up front and didn’t complete the work he promised us. After we had already paid the majority of the contract but our home was less than half-way finished we told the owner we needed to see some additional progress to catch up to what we had already invested. Miguel Mendiola and Mendiola Remodeling & Construction abandoned the job immediately and left our home as a very unsafe environment for our children to be in (exposed electrical outlets, nails sticking out, and only 1 fully functional bathroom). I wish we had done more homework on this contractor’s history before we hired him- he has other complaints against him on the Better Business Bureau and other review sites. Lesson learned- I would NEVER recommend Miguel Mendiola or Mendiola Remodeling & Construction for anything! Buyer Beware!!

Mr. Mendiola and his crew did an outstanding job creating a patio cover for my house. They were quick and very professional. They always showed up on time and worked all day, finishing before scheduled. The finished job is more than I expected and I couldn't be happier. I have referred them to many friends and will call them for all of my remodeling and repair needs.
