I have had nothing but problems since I moved in! For instance..even before my move date the apartment I was promised was given away, which bothered me since all of the apartments are different, and not all of them have all of the amenities that are promised to you. On day one my apartment was not ready even though I had paid my deposit and arranged my moving day WELL in advance. The carpet was horriable and they took up extra time on my move in day having it dyed instead of replacing it..after putting in my list of things that needed to be fixed I listened as maintanace commented in spanish about how big of a pain I am (apparently he was upset after I requested a new fridge after i found that the inside of the one I was given was covered in maggots!) , not realizing that I do speak spanish! My moving day was the only day things got fixed in a timely manner.. Maintanance is EXTREMLY slow..if they come at all. Because of the way the property is managed there are several things that they claim must gain approval before it can be fixed. For instance, the building doors.. I noticed when I moved in that the buzzer ( another amenity that you are promised) did not work, and I would have to walk downstairs to recieve my guests instead of simply buzzing them in . I was told this had to be approved by the housing association 9 months ago! This is a safety hazard since people now simply leave the door ajar! I have to make multiple calls every time for each service order. I have recieved eviction notices even though I pay my rent on time EVERY month and then recieved attitude when I called to complain. . I have HUGE cockroaches...I am afraid to be in my own house! I was told that they forgot to put me on the list for extermination even though I called twice to make sure I was on the list because I know the leasing office is prone to mistakes. I have been extremely calm and patient thus far as I do understand that mistakes happen, but they just keep happening even 9 months later!
