It's difficult being a women and trusting car mechanics already. Thought this mechanic would be different. My check engine light came on due to a minor gas leak. Took the car to get serviced. Mechanic said he fixed a component in front of car. Paid for the service and the next week the car the check engine light came back on. Mechanic let me know he fixed the wrong part and needed to fix another component in the back now. I asked him will he compensate for fixing the wrong part. He seemed to not understand that concept. He explained to me that the issue was now in the back of the car this second time. So I went ahead and agreed to have it fixed a second time. I am thinking he knew what needed to be fixed for this second time. Had the car serviced again and paid a second time for his services. Frustrated because I had to pay for labor and for a new expensive part. At this point, I just want my car fixed so I paid for his services. After two days the check engine light came back on again. Tried to contact mechanic again and didn't any answer. So I paid twice for a service and my car issue never got resolved. He seemed to be a fair mechanic but after getting the run around on this gas leak issue, I would not recommend his services. If he could not fix the issue, he should have told me instead of taking my money and not following back up with me.
