I entered Letourneau accelerated BBA program for working adults just before the turn of the century. I was short a math class, but was told they could probably substitute my Trig class for the Business math class. I worked full time, commuted 3 hours a day, and completed with a very good GPA. The time invested, and my low income caused a lot of trouble in my marriage. At the completion of my coursework, I applied for, and went to Graduation. Instead of a sheepskin, I was handed a blank sheet of paper, with my whole extended family present. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that the University decided not to accept my Trig class as credit for the Business Math class prereq. I had damaged my marriage, and had not slept in nearly 2 years, so could not take the math class. My marriage eventually fell apart, despite my efforts. Much of our problems were my ex wife's financial concerns. Had they notified me during my time as a student, maybe I could come up with a plan to complete the math requirement. Now, I am disabled from injuries resulting from long hours at a low paying, high impact job, and divorced. When I had time to complete the coursework, after my wife and I split, I was told there were a number of classes I would have to take, as requirements had changed. Definitely not happy with my dealings with this University. All I can say is, they will be very demanding and exacting with YOUR requirements and responsibilities, but not so much with theirs.
