My son started as I was in need of immediate childcare and it was not too far from our home. I scheduled an appt with the director Brenda S and she was very pleasant. Long story short I paid for the registration packet and he started the following tuesday. He did not eat for. 2 days before anyone informed me on the 3rd day. I sent him with food in which he ate but only allowed to eat the breakfast. He was there a total of 5 days although paid for 2 wks and he left with a confirmed diagnosis of Hand, Foot, and Mouth, Bacterial Virus, and Stomach Virus. I have the before and after pictures of my son and now that he's at a better place. Do not send your kids here if you dont have to. He enrolled with allergies and eczema but left a heap of mess.

I visited this daycare to ask about rates and to get a feel for the place for my 2 and 3 year old. I walked in and no one was at the front office. No bell, nothing. I stood there for about 2 minutes and some parents came and went (one very big/tall male parent that I didn't see sign in) and one parent asked me if I was signing in. I said no --I'm just here to get some information on the place but no one has come to the front yet. She said --you can go back there --a PARENT let me in. So I went to the back. One of the teachers/counselors had the door open to her classroom and said --one of our teachers went home sick today, can we help you? I said yes I wanted some information. She said go to Miss Lettie's (I don't quite remember the name) room, she can help you. I went to her classroom and she came out. I asked her for some information but I also said to her... I was standing up front for about 2 minutes and I see people coming and going -- you don't have a lock on the front door??!! Most daycares I have been to have a buzzer at the door or someone is sitting there. She said --oh no mam we don't need a lock we know who all our parents are and we see everyone who pulls up, except we didn't see you. I said --so you see everyone that pulls up but you didn't see me? Yes mam --we check everyone's driver license if we don't know them and Miss ___ is on break over here and she's keeping an eye on the door. This Miss ___ was no where that I could see her --she came out and waved hi while on the phone. Miss Lettie looked me up and down as if to say "who are you?" --I let her know I was very concerned and this was not good for anyone's kids. It seemed like a decent place until I walked in and had to deal with her on this level --I told her that man that came in could have been anybody. He just walked right through. No one there to stop or question him. Needless to say, my kids won't be going to this daycare --very ghetto and I'm black too --but this was too ghetto even for me and I'm originally from Harlem, NY (ghetto capital of the world).
