Too many problems to list, roaches, rats, trash, noise....I think the biggest problem is that the complex is too old and it is extremely infested with mice and roaches. And especially after Katrina they had housed too many evacuees from Louisiana for free, so that the quality went down too bad. Our stuff have been stolen from our patio twice but the management ignored the both incidents. Trash is not picked up regularly and too much noise of parties and loud music day and night, even the cops are bored of responding to those calls anymore....Anna and Craig

She deserved it.

I totally agree with all the comments below...And there is much more to be said; as an eldery couple we had to stay there for two terms (each of 7 months)but it was a place from hell.
I wouldn't recommend that place for nobody. We really had very very bad experiences, too many break-ins, not safe and it is very dirty and messy.

Wow, unbelievably terrible management office. Especially that manager herself, Jennifer Hines, is street mafia...
It looks like a nice place from a distance yet once you move in 'god help you'...my wife called it 'rodent-land'...there are more mice than tennants. They need to clean up, kill the rats and spray the roaches...

The complex itself is good, nice landscape, good location but the managment sucks big time. They dont do anything about the roach and rat problem. It is disgusting.
As far as we understood the manager has been there for years and she is running the place like a dicatator. She is very rude and obnoxious. They don't pay much attention to tennats problems; they are only smiling until you sign the contract.

I lived there for 6 months (2009) during my visit at UH. I simply HATED it. I honestly can't understand why people still continue to live there; there is not even 1 positive point to mention about that aptartment complex. It was a zoo more than it was an apt complex for people to live, trash piled up like city dumpster, too many creepy-scary- drug users ( I wasn't even sure if they lived there) walking around, swimming in the pool, using the gym.... One night I almost got jumped on by 2 colored guys in front of my own patio, I informed the management about the incident and the manager (as far as I could remember her name was Jessica or Jennifer hanes or hines) told me, " I don't think they are our residents, they might have walked in from the street to use the pool or the gym" !!!!!!! She didn't even offer to look into it or call the police...There were few more similar incidents and I simply got as far away as I could from that place...Nightmare !

Too loud, trash piles up all the time, amateur management, too many incidents, no security, no safety...we were lucky to get out of there safe and sound...

worst apartment I have ever lived at !
