Hello fellow texans! This is a very great shop I would recommend to anybody. I did not read the reviews or research this company before service I was recommended by a trustworthy friend. I've been doing business with the Jones road location for some time now and I came on here to leave my review and started reading the others! As a fellow business owner I feel obligated to take a little extra of my time to say what I think. First thing is the reviews right bellow mine are outdated by years! That might be the only flaw i see, I have not seen anybody described in these reviews and i have been quite a few times. The staff I have been doing business with has been very professional and honest. I come from a family of mechanics so I know they are not trying to upsell me on anything I do not absolutely need. I also have my trucks on a regular maintenance schedule so I know what to expect. I'm relieved to finally find a quality shop to service my fleet of trucks with no hassle like I've been dealing with at other locations. This shop is very clean and the entire staff has been great! Thank you Jason for all your help this has been such a relief finding a quality shop I can trust!

GO ELSE WHERE!! Never will I go there again. They charge you for things you didn't request. My advice is to ask them how much they charge BEFORE you hand them your keys. This is a family owned business full of crooks!

I was a loyal customer, never again wil I ever do business with this business. Went in for an oil change. Drove to work across town, I noticed smoke coming from my engine compartment, it smelled like oil. I pulled over. raised my hood an discovered oil all over my engine, and pooring from underneath my engine. I had to be towed to the dealership. Their cerified technicians found the oil filter that kwik kar had put on, was overtightened so much, they had to get a huge pair of channel lock pliers on the filter to remove it. It was overtightened so much that it smashed the gasket, caused all of the oil to poor out all over my engine. Lost a day of work, a tow charge, my engine and everything under the hood covered in oil. The manager's answer to my problem, "How about the next ol change is on him" ! They almost cost me a new engine. They could care less about the problems and inconvenience that they caused me due to their inexperienced staff abd mistake. Never again will they get a dime from me, total loosers all the way.

This Kwik Kar is awful. Some blk guy about maybe 4 feet tall smelling like a ton of liquor tried I said tried to assist me in the afternoon. He stinks. and he is unprofessional and he tried to over charge me. They need to fire him. Drinking while working with the public.

i was employeed by kwik kar lube & tune,andthge things that where done to paying customers are horrible .The filter that your auto carries may not be in stock but you will be sold an oil change a drain and fill,this nissan maxima came in for a tune up I told the manger Christine Mills in order to do a tune up I needed certain parts that only the dealer carries and my classmate works at bthe nissan dealrship and he will also tell you that a tune up on a maxima requires the intake to be removed to get to the spark plugs on the backj side of the motor,Christine told me don"t worry about the one in the back and sold the the customer a tune up and a egr valve that was never replaced.AIS250 came in for an oil change we didnt have the oil filter in stock,but he paid for a synthitic oil cahnge and raditor flush,Achevy silveradfo came in one dayfor and oil cvhange and the filter wasn't in stock,Christine told me put back the old one back one,but it was damaged in removing,she had no other choice but to order one from Autozone and explain to the customer why the oil change was taking so long.A customer with a chevy surburban came in and Christine sold him several services and did the work herself,why did the customer come back and say he lost brakes doing 65 on the freeway,his rear differential leaking,she sold him a flush on his brake fluid,oil cahnge and new seal flush and fill on the rear differential and a oil change.

I have been a loyal customer of Kwik Kar in Norman for almost 4 years now. I went in for routine maintenance and oil changes regularly. When I last got my oil changed they told me my brake pedal was low and I should have it checked. When I took it in later, they quoted me $958.17 in repairs. I later took it to a local repair shop that had been in business for 28 years and received excellent reviews online. They told me after inspection that my brakes were in perfect functioning order and that my rotors looked next to new and were without rust. I have to wonder how many people have taken their word for it and did not get a second opinion like I did.

Had a very bad experience. Let's just say I was lied to and didn't get what I paid for.



The Consumer Protection Act includes sections that deal with auto repairs. I have submitted my complaint to the Texas Attorney Generals office against Kwik Kar Lube & Tune, 9623 Jones Road Houston, TX 77065 based on the following points. Under this law, it is illegal to:



1) Knowingly make a false or misleading statement about the need for parts, replacement or repair service.



2) State that work has been done or parts were replaced when that is not true.



3) Represent that goods are original or new, when in fact they are second-hand or refurbished.

I can assure you this location does not do these practices that you are stating. You might have the wrong location. Please contact me so we can resolve this issue.

My car was not running very we...

My car was not running very well. I stopped in at this Kwik Kar. The manager put my air filter housing back together. I had my car serviced some place else and they did not hook it back together, causing my car to stall out all the time. I didn't even get charged. That's powerful customer service!

Not As Good As It Once Was. I visited this place a little over a year ago and had a good experience. There was an oriental woman who watched over things and had things in check. In the area again, I decided to return. As the saying goes, all good things must end. The staff was not friendly at all, the place was dirty, very different from last time. I have nothing against rap music, but not the blaring kind. It doesn't set the best possible image. Too bad the place has slipped. I guess there must be new owners or management, or something. I won't be going back.

I visited this location today ...

I visited this location today and all I can say is wow. The level of customer service is unlike anything I have ever seen. I was greeted by the manager, Ms. Mills, and she was very helpful and did a great job explaining the services to me. I was treated wonderfully by the entire staff. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. In fact, I was so comfortable my car was ready before I knew it. Overall, this was the nest customer service experience I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend this shop

All I got was up-sell attempts. Very little attention to the one thing I came in for, an oil change. Waiting area appeared very dirty, filthy coffee pot and horrible odors from restroom area.

honesty, integrity, and value what more could you ask for?

My daughter brought her car in to be inspected and serviced before she returned to school. Normally, I am skeptical when someone tries to sell services to my little girl, but the crew over at Kwik Kar have changed my opinion. Instead of trying to strong arm my daughter into getting services she knew nothing about, the manager gave her exactly what she asked for. And then gave her a written estimate on work that needed to be done so she could show it to me. I took the manager's estimate to my dealership and showed it to them and not only was it accurate in what needed to be done but it was also very affordable. Thank you Kwik Kar for putting a father's mind at ease!

Let my start of by saying this constant bad mouthing of this company is all lies. A customer has taken this a little to far and has made this personal. It's a shame that people cannot act like grown adults on here. This company does change the oil and they do not tell people to change their brakes to pass inspection. Matter of fact DPS review shows no one in the last 11 months have failed for brakes. Weird ...right? Also this location does have cameras that record all day. I have personally contacted this manager at this location as I do business with them. I find it very odd that this manager has not been contacted by any of these customers ....actually I do not find that odd because it's a lie. The same story goes up ...they didn't change the oil, and asked to put on brakes for a inspection. Do not buy into this one angry customer that has multiple screen names and has no life. To my fellow friend that has taken this to far.....I have advised this location of their rights. Did you know you can be in trouble for defamation of character? Since you do like to use names. Stop harassing this business and find something more productive to do.
