I have been interested in taking Krav Maga classes ever since I watched episodes about the fighting style on "Fight Quest" and "Human Weapon". When Houston Krav Maga opened a location close to me (on I-45 between Spring and the Woodlands), I knew I had to take the classes. As a concerned parent and husband, I have often been worried about protecting my family in a world that seems to becoming more and more dangerous. I was also looking for a way to finally get in (and stay in) shape after several decades of taking it easy. I can honestly tell you that both of these needs are being met. This is NOT a fluffy, feel-good, training program. It is serious. It is hard. It will push you. You will have moments of reflection where you evaluate how physically and mentally tough you really are AND where you want to be. You don't have to be in great shape but you do have to be willing to push yourself. The staff is tough, fair, and experts in their field. They will push you to levels that you feel you can't do. If you have injuries or other conditions you will be encouraged to "modify" your workouts. The people you will be training with are friendly and helpful. It can be intimidating when you initially start but you will quickly fit in. Houston Krav Maga also brings in national trainers (a separate fee) to instruct us on different self-defense subjects. We have had several seminars about gun and knife defenses which have been pretty cool. Anybody that interested in touring the facilities and trying out a class should call Joe at the Houston Krav Maga North facility.

if you want to learn krav maga and self defense this is the place to go! I have been a student here for nearly a year and it was one of the best choices I've made! the classes are really intense, so you get a great workout. the classes are also very technique intensive also! they are awesome, but don't listen to me, try it out for yourself!!

I highly recommend krav maga houston for anyone who wants to learn self defense. These guys know what they are doing.

Starting krav maga was one of the better decisions in my life. I am lucky to have trained with the guys at krav maga houston.. they have not only taught me how to defend myself but they have also been awesome mentors. If you want to learn how to physically and mentally prepare yourself to kick a-s-s.. Krav maga houston is the place you want to go!!!

I have had SUCH a good experience at Krav Maga Houston that it makes me want to literally post on each and every website while shouting from the rooftops! Where do I start?



1) The instructors aren't just good instructors, they are good people and even better mentors who will help build you up and give you confidence.

2) The training that they give you is very effective and it will help you in many, many different ways. I was forced to use my training last November in a particular situation, and thank god that I responded the way I did.

3)Their school is awesome, and they are opening up a new school that is HUGE.. somewhere in North Houston, not sure where though.
