The owner of James Mechanical Services is the MOST DISREPECTFUL individual that I have come across since I have relocated to Texas. James Kingcaid, the owner, was extremely rude when questioned about missing an appointment (my fourth scheduled appointment that was missed). He refused to listen to anything that was said and shouted over me for virtually the entire conversation. Even when I was trying to address questions that he had asked me. The only time that he stop talking for 2 seconds, was when he did so to ask me to "go ahead and throw a temper tantrum". This was comical at best given that he was the one acting like a crazed maniac. I was not upset when I called but simply concerned that I was left off the schedule by mistake. There were several thunderstorms in the area over the past few weeks, which I assumed caused a delay in service. However after being yelled at, berated, disrespected and hung up on I became highly upset, especially after he called me back a still unwilling to listen or answer any questions and hung up again. When I told him that he was being disrespectful, his position was that I was wasting his time given that he has “thousands of calls everyday”. Even though I was the one who had to take time off from work to be at home for the appointment, only for no one to show up. During his extensive rant, James rationalized that the reason they had miss all of my appointments was because I scheduled them on Saturday and they only answer emergency calls on Saturdays. However, I have a hard time understanding why someone would repeatedly schedule an appointment on a day that they could not show up. Moreover, one of the missed appointments was on a Thursday so I’m confused as to why they couldn’t show up for that appointment. In short, I would NEVER recommend James Mechanical Services to any person or animal for that matter, as no customer deserves to be verbally abused and disrespected.
