I scheduled them to clean a vacant house I have on Saturday at 9:00. They texted Friday and asked if they could switch to 12:00 and I said fine. They texted Saturday morning and asked if they could switch back to 9 and I said fine. Then they texted again and said they noticed my house was built in the 80s and that they don't clean "vintage houses". I told them it's ok, I don't expect it to look brand new, I just want it cleaned to look a little nicer than it does now. I asked them to still meet me there and I asked them to please not cancel an hour before we are supposed to meet. They simply said they are sorry but they can't clean my house due to its age. How about put that on your website or make sure you mention that in the initial conversation you have with a customer? I would guess that well over half the houses in Houston are built in the 80s or before! I'm sure the owner will reply to this review and somehow blame it on me. But what I wrote above is 100% correct and factual.

Although I called them at the last minute, they were able to schedule my apartment move-out cleaning for the next day. They arrived as scheduled and everything wend smoothly. They were fast, efficient and cleaned everything so I could get my deposit refunded back to me.

I used this company and they did a super job of cleaning my apartment for a moveout. No problems at all and a really good value for what they charged. I did hesitate a little because of the bad review. But, then I checked the other ratings that person gave and they were all one star reviews...

Despite the negative comment, I had a really good experience with Houston House and Apartment Cleaning. They were courteous, prompt, efficient and really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with everything. They didn't miss a spot. And, I would cetrainly use them again to clean my home.

I scheduled an appointment with this company about 3-4 days in advance to clean my apartment at 10 am 10/30/11. I made it clear that my lease was up and I needed the apartment made ready for move-out. They phoned me approximately 9:10 am on 10/30 to tell me that one of the two cleaners was ill and they would not be able to clean as scheduled. It was too late to schedule with anyone else. What I thought was going to be a hassle-free move became a huge ordeal. I am very disappointed with this company. They cost me quite a bit of time and expense. It was very unprofessional to cancel on a customer less than 50 minutes before the appointment. Also, the woman on the phone gave me the impression they simply forgot they scheduled with me or just decided they did not feel like cleaning that morning. I would not risk scheduling with them if you have any type of deadline.

Thanks to Houston House and Apartment Cleaning my house cleaning is a snap and I have more free time with my family. They take pride in their work. We are very happy with their service!
