Nice hotel, but they need better parking services, I had my iPod stolen, and my car was there for just 5 or 6 hrs.

I came to visit someone at Hotel Derek on 8/25 and trusted that the valet company that was contracted out, State Parking Services, had honest employees. I was wrong. While my vehicle was on the hotel's property my trunk was rummaged through, as well as my backseat and glove compartment. No one had access to my vehicle but State Parking Services. Within the 5 hours my vehicle was on hotel property and in the possession of State Parking Services over $3000 worth of merchandise was stolen. I paid State Parking Services $9 to steal my stuff and go through my vehicle. I know this isn't the first time that something like this has happened. I should've parked my car across the street at CVS. I no longer trust Hotel Derek or State Parking Services and I would not recommend being a patron of either establishment.
