We went with a group of friends to enjoy dim sum



And : unfortunately it was a so bad experience. Low quality food at best



Avoid it

Okay, my family and I decided to eat at HK dim sum on bellaire today. It was a very upsetting experience. The pork dish came out and it was dark pink, it was not cooked properly. I am a Rn and I know what undercooked pork can do, so I ask the waitress if she can cook it some more. She said that the pork is ok, it's pink because they had it in the freezer and reheated it....okay...that explained a lot. The beef ribs plates were spoiled...they smelled like sour cheese...and the rice had an odor and I am Asian and I know what stale cooked rice looks like...and this was the straw that broke the camel's back. My husband was so upset that he got up and paid and we didn't bother to eat. As we were leaving, the owner and the waitress block our exit and demanded that we tip them.......i'm not making this up. I ask them why should I tip when you all serve us spoiled food, my husband should've not even pay. They said in broken English...food good, no problem....I ask the owner to go ahead and eat the pork from the table, he declined. As we walked our, the waitress yelled out..don't come back. That will never happen. If you want to eat dim sum fresh from two weeks ago in the freezer, I suggest just go ahead and buy in from the frozen section in your neighborhood market...at least you won't have to tip for bad services. Just my two cents.
