This home is an excellent place to live. The staff and administration are very kind and professional. There have been a myriad of improvements over recent years. I have been a patient here for several years so I know what I'm talking about. If I had to rate this facility on a 0 to 100 scale, 100 being flawless, I would rate it 99, and I truly mean it. This is my home and I never want to leave. Thanks Highland Park!

This facility is very old (probably built in the early 60's. Owner does very little maintenance, the furniture is old and scratched, and it is infested with gnats and roachesl. I don't see how it remains open under the circumstances. There are not enough aids, CNA's or nurses for the 52 residents and it takes forever to get one to come when the call light is on. It is privately owned and the owner lives around Dallas and, again, does not do enough maintenance - rooms are drabby and unpainted. There are window units in the rooms and I had a fear of a fire due to the quality of electrical wiring. Administrator's office is very updated with hardwood floors, etc., but the rest of the place is just awful. Would not recommend at all.
