Located in Houston, Hastings Ninth Grade Center provides a variety of educational programs, such as fractions, geometry, geography, history, reading, English and science. The center also offers classes in technology, fine arts, clip arts, and gifted and special education. Hastings Ninth Grade Center provides membership to a variety of clubs, including art, book, chess, French, funky fish, and speech and debate club and National Honor Society. The district offers various sports program that include baseball, basketball, football, wrestling, hockey, volleyball and track. Hastings Ninth Grade Center is affiliated with the Alief Independent School District that also operates Best Elementary School, Bush Elementary School, Albright Middle School and Taylor High School.
