I called this place one day to find out there store hours, The old white lady that works at the counter told me they close at 8pm. On this same day I arrived at this store at 7:45pm and only needed to buy one product, when I tried to enter it was locked. It was a short hispanic lady standing on the inside directly in front of the door saying they were closed,(mind you their were other people STILL shopping in the store) I tried to explain that I had called earlier and the lady who normally works at the cash register told me they didnt close until 8, the hispanic girl was not trying to here this and waved me off saying they were closed, I was extremely upset because i had walked to this store and made SURE i arrived 15 minutes before closing time. Since i had walked to this store, I tried one more time to get them to reason with me and tried to explain I needed only one product that was important for my next day event, she would not even open the door to atleast here me out, only waved me off again, so I left. The next day, I called the store and spoke with the older white lady and asked her again "What time do you all close?" She said "8:pm"..Then i told her that i suggest she should not tell customers 8pm when they will not let you in 15 minutes before this store closed. She then got very rude and extremely nasty with me while I was only trying to explain the two spanish girls would not let me in at only 7:45, SHE TOLD ME SHE DID NOT CARE AND WAS NOT TRYING TO HERE MY COMPLAINT AND TO DO WHATEVER I WANTED TO DO ABOUT MAKING A COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS BUSINESS, then hung up the phone in my face!..My point of this complaint is to all my black sisters out there, we need to stop giving these type of stores our money because they do not care about us, we make them VERY rich with these stores they put in poor black neighborhoods, get our money then go back to their nice neighborhoods and laugh at how they treat us and profit from us. Most of the time you cant even use their bathrooms, when you shop they watch you like a hawk and worst of all have you noticed they DONT HIRE BLACK WOMEN TO WORK IN THESE STORES, the very women who know more about our hair and skin needs are not even hired to work in these stores. I will never shop at this store or anyother beauty supply again unless it is Black owned due to the fact that they dont hire black people to sell products that are LARGELY consumed by black people, they dont respect us.Have you notice as soon as you have a problem with your purchase or dispute a charge on your reciept how NASTY they get with you, just goes to show they only want a black persons money and have no respect for us. Please find a Black owed beauty supply to support or if you have the financial means PLEASE OPEN ONE,it would be a very good investment for you and the black community, lets put an end to making other people rich and start supporting our own.
