The owner of H & M failed to amend his deceased surveyor's survey which cost me more than $130K in damages. His failure to amend forced me into a horrible boundary line dispute litigation. I had not 1 but 3 surveys that disagreed with his surveyor's results but he never tried to amend the survey and fix the situation. After 2 years my home is still not built because of the horrible lawsuit that was required to move my neighbors fence off of my property. I have increased building cost, over the top legal fees, temp housing cost and other expenses. I reported the surveyor to the state and they ruled the survey contained a code violation but again he wouldn't amend the survey and talk to my neighbors. It took over 16 months to resolve with 3 court hearings and a bench trial. The owner of H&M did nothing but hide behind a deceased man's mistakes.
