I was called in for an interview and the interviewer lady had no idea why she called me in for. The job description never mentioned they wanted someone with advanced Excel skills or more HR experience. Prior to my face to face interview, I spoke with this lady over the phone a day before, in which she asked about my job history and salary requirements. When I went there she wanted to pay me only $10 an hour or come into the office for few hours and work there (unpaid) so that they would know if I am the right person. Then she said to show my resume to her HR person and get back to me. She came back after 10 mins and was shocked to see me still sitting in the conference room, I reminded her that she told me she would get back with a response from HR. She said 'Oh yes, the HR thinks you don't have stable job history', I said :"You didn't tell them that all my jobs were temp and I had no control over longevity', she hesitated and then gave my lack of advanced Excel experience as an excuse
