We currently live in a complex that is managed by Greystone Assets Management (Houston). I have been filing repair tickets about an issue we are having with our washer/water and the smell that is coming from the laundry room since OCTOBER 2012. It is now Febuary 2013 and our issue was recently fixed after 4 failed attempts and closets full of mold/septic gas smelling cloths and towels. We contacted our renters insurnace company who sent us a denial since the facility was negligent about timely correcting our reported issues. Not only did management LIE to us about talking to our insurance company and our claim being approved but they have been giving us the run around about compensation for our loss and the opportunity to speak to regional manager or another managing partner. This company has a staff that is composed of incompetent, untrained, lying, scary managers and other office staff who need serious training in customer service and RESPECT. They quickly tape a letter to your door when you owe them .3 cents but they fail to remember the information they originaly gave you or the fact that you havent mattered to them since you moved in even though you are the one that is PAYING THEIR SALARY!!! If you have a chance to read this please rule out all other possibilites before moving to any property managed by Greystone. If you do chose to look at one of their properties make sure you keep note of all information given including who you spoke to because chances are that when you go back they will not be the same people (since they have such a high turn over rate). I do need to Thank 2 employees because there is one corporate receptionist and one office receptionist that have gone above and beyond in the attempt to solve our problems but they could only do so much......
