I'm very happy with the food and the service I received. The staff was courteous, and prompt. The food was fresh, and tasty. Plan to come back.

Accommodations totally unsuitable for a party of 18. Hostess at sign in desk, rude, seemed bothered by the intrusion of so many paying guests. I always thought that's how businesses made their money. Won't be going back, and will not recommend to anyone else.

My first time to eat at Grand Lux was last week and I was thoroughly impressed. I hope to return there soon even though I do not live in Houston. The waiter was very pleasant and quite informative when he learned that it was our first visit there. I ordered the Bento Box, which changes entrees and soups daily. It included soup, salad, an entree and two sides. The food was delicious and well presented, and the price was reasonable. Dessert beignets were amazing. The three sauces that came with them were perfection, especially the creme anglaise! Can't wait to go back!

the prices are too high for not so good service and plain tasting food
