They have ignored my repeated emails and telephone calls to redeem a pre-purchased voucher for cleaning. Save your money and your time by staying away from these frauds!

Good Elves is more like BAD SANTA! For those of you who didn't get a response back from Betty and instead got a refund be thankful. I paid for two housekeepers for five hours. They took more smoke breaks than worked. It took them an hour and twenty minutes just to clean my bathroom!! Get this, when I asked if they cleaned the fireplace mantle she said she didn't know if I wanted her to stand on the hearth....it's brick for crying out loud! Finally after a couple of hours I dismissed them and ended up cleaning myself. Dissappointing being this was the first time using a housekeeping service.

Twice called, twice scheduled, twice no shows. They left no courtesy calls or emails to say they weren't coming. My Daily Deals was great about giving me a refund because they apparently had to refund a LOT of customers' money. Good Elves got paid 30 days after the deal ran and then stiffed everyone after that. Never again.

I like a few others bought a voutcher through Buywithme. When I called to set up an appointment I was directed to email my information, I did and waited 3 days to hear back from "Betty" never did I emailed Buywithme they have not responded either.
I called GoodElves and was told they are doing their email request and would call me back in 2-3 hours. Guess what!!! No call. I'm out a few bucks and of course won't use Buywithme again.
After reading other reviews (I should have done that first) even if Good Elves call I don't want the shady lot in my home.
Lesson learned.

If I could give Good Elves and Ms. Betty a negative 100 I would. The facts: I called and emailed with Ms. Betty serveral times to find out if she would have someone available to clean my new apt on Sunday, May 29th. To be fair, this was a holiday weekend and she did mentioned she has a hard time finding anyone who wants to work on Sundays because of church. Unfortunately, this was the absolute only day to do it because the other tennant was using Sat to move out and I would be moving in early memorial day Monday. I would have just redeemed my groupon in for a later date and hired someone else to deep clean if I knew that she and whoever Dale is was going to confirm the cleaning twice and then never let me know that no one was going to show! I was out of town on business and having to coordinate this with my new landlord while away. I called to let her know where the key was and she tells me that no one is coming and they would be come on Monday, my moving day!! What!? When you confirm twice, that means you have a crew coming. She does not have a handle on her help or her business. To make a long story short, my 5 hour professional deep clean consisted of only a few hours 2-3 and left me with unswept floors, broccoli in the sink, hairs and filfth in the bathtub, unwiped and speckled mirrors, crumbs, stains, food in the refridge and freezer, and general and basic uncleanliness. So not only did I coordinate the appointment for nothing with all those parties involved, but on moving day had to move in to a complete and utter mess that I then had to clean myself!!!! I would NEVER USE HER AGAIN!!! I have contacted groupon for a refund.

Don't use this place. If you couldn't get an appointment, be happy because the people that showed up today STOLE from me while they were there. Betty (the owner) claims she is bonded and insured, but she isn't. And all the workers that showed up had a criminal background.

I purchased a Groupon for 5 hours of house cleaning with two cleaners for a home over 2500 sq ft. On Friday, March 25, 2011 the cleaners were suppose to report to my home at 12 noon. Well around 1 p.m., one cleaner did arrive however; she looked to be approximately 60 years old. I ask what happen to the other cleaner and she said she did not know but someone was supposed to help her clean the house. Well this little old woman started cleaning while I called Ms. Betty to find out what was going on. Ms. Betty said there was an emergency so she only had one person to send out. I explained to Ms. Betty that my home was approximately 3000 sq ft and it was impossible for one person to complete the job. Ms. Betty assured me that this worker had been with the organization for years and was her best worker and the job would be done. I went to talk to the cleaner and told her what Ms. Betty said and the cleaner informed me that she had only work for Ms. Betty for a week and a half. This cleaner cleaned 1 1/2 bathroom, vacuum up stairs (Oh she ask me to use my vacuum cleaner) completed a little dusting and left. I was outside planting flowers in my back yard and when I went back in to check on her she had left without advising me leaving my front door unlock where anyone could have walked in my home and burglarized or harmed my family and me. I have never been so displeased and seen such unprofessionalism in all my life. Please do not ever use this cleaning company because I promise, you will not be happy with the outcome. I am in the process of trying to get a refund now before I take any other actions. (P.S. the only reason why I selected 1 star for rating is because I could not send my review withouth selecting at least one. This company deserves no stars)

I had a Thursday 9:30 appt. for a "top to bottom" cleaning.

Had many confirmations(email/phone).No one showed up.I call. The owner tells me someone will be there by noon. Still nothing. Then, someone will be there around 2. Now, I have left to get my kids from school. Finally, after many calls from lost workers- they show at 3:15. Basically, swept and mopped/wiped kitchen down/vaccumed/and kind of cleaned bathrooms. I had to go behind and clean shower. No dusting down, no wiping of baseboards. AND she sent TWO young MEN to my home, knowing it's a woman and two kids there at the time. SO unprofessional. I emailed a complaint a week ago, hoping it would be made right. No response.

The team at Good Elves got my house back in order. They were on time listened to my needs and did a top notch job cleaning the house. I would surely use them again. Awesome service!

As of today 2 weeks later i am still waiting on a refund check. Betty came to clean my house and in 9 hours only cleaned my bathroom and bedroom.



I was over charged for my cleaning service and promised a refund. Still waiting. Shortly i will contact an attorney to help me recoup the additional money i was out.
