I was about to publish a Spanish ad on one of the mayor papers in Houston (circulation of over 475,000 copies daily!!!). I had given the original English version to someone else to translate. Thank God I thought of having GLOBAL TRANSLATIONS HOUSTON, INC. review that translation!!!! No only did they find many gross mistakes with the translated document but I would have ended up insulting a whole lot of our clients and offending many, many readers because the person who did the original translation didn't know how to truly and accurately convey my commercial message using "slang" language which would have been very offending to the majority of our latin community (I could give plenty of examples but I'm REALLY AFRAID OF OFFENDING THE PEOPLE WHO READ MY REVIEW!!!!). Ricardo Eva (Global Translations Inc's GM) not only pointed out to me the gross mistakes make on the original documents (which were many!) but took valuable time to patiently explain to me the different linguistic nuances and how some words which are considered "normal" in one hispanic country are actually very offensive in others. I thank Global Translations Houston, Inc. for their editing, advise, follow-ups, friendly and professional manner in which they handled my document. I am now a faithful and long term custumer!!!
