My dacshund showed signs of an ear infection and some allergy related skin issues yesterday. The wonderful docs and staff saw him today (Saturday!) with a curbside drop-off system that was surprisingly smooth! It was actually easier for me, since I didn't have to wrangle him to keep him in one place while in the waiting area. He is very strong for a "weenie dog"!

My grandparents, parents, and now myself have been coming to this clinic since it first opened. It is a small community space and the people know you by name. All of the veterinarians are great. Dr. Alborta saves our dog's life after he was attacked by a large dog. Dr. Griggs is super cool too and has a very calm way of explaining serious situations. I don't know Dr. Cantu but I imagine she's really great too. Like I said, the clinic is very small but it is wonderful.

We've been coming here for around 15 years. They have a really good staff. Dr. Alborta is especially super cool. It's a small neighborhood clinic and they treat you right.

Ive been going to this clinic for 32 years. Ive known Dr G since shhe was a student at the clinic. Michelle is the best She has been there for years. You get The best care ever.

Always able to get an appointment when I want. Very rarely wait. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I trust them with my animals.

Our dogs have been patients of Forest West for 6+ years. Dr. Griggs and her staff are wonderful, very caring and genuine people. They've all helped us though both good times and not so good times throughout the life and care of our dog children. If you're seeking veterinary care, give them a call and go see for yourself. We've referred friends to them who have been very happy and continue to have their pets treated there. I highly recommend.

I love Forest West Vet and I trust them with my fur babies. Highly recommend from my pets, family and friends pets.

Dr Griggs is the best! Her asst calm my poor kitty , they were amazing . My cat was mistreated at the shelter I got him from over 8 yrs ago and is very defensive. I’m over protective of him. They worked with me to keep him.calmed. They are very good on how they treat ur pet, which is why I would never go anywhere else. Been with them since 2001 when I first took my beloved Sancho.

Dr. Griggs does wonders at Forest West. I've been coming here for over 10 years and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff is great and they treat my dog Hoopz with great care. Could not be more happy with Forest West!

I have used these fine people for 35 years off and on. They took excellent care of my fur babies over the years in active years and to the end. They truly care and love or pets.

You just found the very best vet clinic. I am the third generation of my family to use this clinic (25+ yrs). Over the years they have treated 12 of our cats and dogs. I tried others when I moved away or was out of town and noticed the difference. All of our pets have routinely exceeded their typical life expectancy due to routine health care and excellent treatment when illness occurred. I could talk about their referrals to Gulf Coast or their consults with A&M or them going to my mother home to give her dog an IV, etc. etc. You should base your opinion on your visit, not one post on the web. My lab mix (50lbs) is now 16 and near the end. I now drive 186 mi. each way to this clinic because of their level of care and expertise. I find their prices to be a real value for the service received as we typically get what we pay for in life, so I strongly disagree with other comments. I would like to thank Dr. Griggs, Dr. Tinkey and their great staff (Thank you ladies!)

helpful, friendly and caring. none of our animals have put up a fuss when going here. one dog would even run to the door and try to go back to the examination room when we arrived.

Veterinarian Cantu was polite and professional .

This is a great clinic. Brought my kitty here in the 90's. Did such a great job when I got my new puppy and kitten decided to look them up to see if they were still around. Obviously I'm not the only person that feels that this clinic is a fine establishment to take your pet because they're still in businesses and I know why... the office staff (Michelle) is very nice and along with the rest of the doctors they actually care about animals. They are reasonably priced and make it affordable for families to keep their pets happy and healthy. Thank you.

The staff was wonderful. I was a walk-in but was seen quickly along with those with appointments. The technician even carried my baby in his carrier to the car in pouring rain.

The vets are always thorough and take all the time needed to assess and listen. Most employees including techs and other staff have been there for years and really get to know the pets and their humans.

There are two women that work there and the one I see all the time is Dr. Alborga. She is very caring, compassionate and thorough.

I have been going to them for a couple of years and they are very good. They didn't take her away from me as they took care of her and I really appreciated that. I would highly recommend them.

It went well. The price included three days boarding for a lab and a dachshund plus nail trims for both and the annual check up and shots for the lab. I thought it was quite reasonable!!! The dogs were clean and smelled good when picked up!!
