The cars is a 2010 Lexus LS 460, 31.500 miles. I paid the asking price minus the $500 Mike immediately offered me. I didn't ask for anything.



When I came to pick up the car it was not washed - it was covered in pollen and bird crap. The car next to it was nice and clean.



Mike asked me if I was there for a test drive!? That was not good, and sure enough, they were not ready with the paperwork as promised. The 15 minutes they told us it would take turned into an hour. In that hour, the car was not washed...



Time to leave and three problems show up: there's no manual or spare key and the trunk is extremely difficult to get to open. I was promised that they would mail me a manual within a week. "A spare key is not normal, but you can buy one on eBay for $45", Mike told me. A spare key is crucial for this car, since you're not going anywhere without a key, and it costs $65 and up PLUS programming. More like $200+ for a real, new key.



I drove off, not realizing that there was enough gas for just 25 miles. A "change oil soon" warning was displayed. I bought the most expensive gas ever in a bad part of Houston...



The reason for the trunk problem became obvious 24 hours later when the car was completely dead! The battery showed 5.63 volts - a far cry from the 13.2 expected. In my opinion, the dealer should have tested that and replaced the battery. AAA fixed the problem, but I wasted my time and it could have been a lot worse!



Five days after I picked up the car a warning showed something to the effect "Change oil NOW!!!!". I rushed to my mechanic and in just an hour and a half (and $90 later) I had fresh oil in the car.



About a week and a half after being promised the manual I had to call Mike and ask for it. He told me the manual would be by them "shortly". Mike promised me a "full detailing next time I come" for my troubles. That's unlikely to happen, since I live 60 miles away, and I don't need it now - I managed to wash the car myself in less than a month...



It's now over a month since I got the car, and I have not seen or heard anything at all from Mike or anybody else.



All I ever asked for and wanted was a manual and a spare key. I've given up hope of seeing either one and will now spend even more of my own money to make up for the dealers disinterest and inaction. I'm beginning to worry that I may not even get my license plates, like another reviewer!!!



I've searched high and low, but can't seem to find a corporate address or contact for the Fredy group of car dealers. I wish I would have done that sooner, because that would have alerted me to the fact that they don't want the customers to contact them. I was fully ready to e-mail every officer and board member of the company, but they are busy counting my money, I guess.



If you want a working vehicle and some reasonable level of professional service and attention I suggest you go somewhere else. I know I will.

ONCE YOU CATCH THEM WITH DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES, THEY DON'T RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED THROUGH EBAY AD. VEHICLE WAS DESCRIBED AS EXCELLENT IN EVERY ASPECT. LF TIRE WAS BALD..NUMEROUS SCRATCHES AND A FEW SMALL DENTS...4 BENT RIMS...RR TIRE HAD A NAIL... I AM OVER $2,000 NOW AND COUNTING . THEY DON'T WANT TO TALK TO ME ANYMORE SINCE THEY WERE PAID. NOTIFYING ATTY GENERAL FOR TEXAS...FILING SUIT FOR SEVERAL COUNTS OF FRAUD..I AM NOT DONE!

One word AMAZING, walked in looking for a BMW 550i walked out with a 750Li for the same money, Nino was awesome he knew everything about the cars, they did a hell of a job getting the financing done they beat my banks rate signed and drove my car home the same day, thanks a lot guys this is by far my best buying experience I will never go anywhere else

First Auto Connection is one of the worst dealerships! They are terrible with customer service. They are connected to Fredy Kia on Gulf Freeway off of 45. FREDY KIA is also one of the worst dealerships ever! All they care about is money. They advertise customer service is number 1, Customer serice is 0 !!!! I bought a Lexus from them and they are so shady! First Auto Connection and FREDY KIA! WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! DONT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS THEY ARE CROOKS! Unless NINO works something out with me and calls me back then I will consider. He has not contacted me at all. DO NOT BUY CARS FROM FREDY KIA OR FIRST AUTO CONNECTION! I spent 2k in body work and 2 and a half months later my Touch Screen/Navigation and A/C is not working! They have not seen the last of me yet! Until they work something out I am not stopping.
