I am happy to say I just closed on a Farb Home last month. I am an architect and have very high standards on construction and design so it is a huge accomplishment for any builder to live up to my sometimes unrealistic expectations. Although I did have a very detailed and exhaustive punch list, they went above and beyond and were very accommodating making sure every detail was to my liking. I highly recommend their developments if you are in the market for an inner loop townhome.

I am a real estate agent and recently closed on my third Farb Home in the past two years. Over my career I have sold six total and can say that I have had wonderful experiences with this builder. One of my clients is moving overseas and had to sell her Farb home that I first sold to her six years ago. I am glad to say it had no problem passing third party inspections and she made an excellent profit as the value has gone up exponentially. There are a lot of fly-by-night builders building town homes with no experience who do a couple of developments and disappear. Farb has been around, has experience and builds consistently good homes.

All I can say is .....BUYER BEWARE. This Builder presents a beautiful home and claims that he provides a quality product infact he is unwilling to negotiate on the price because of his high quality standards. I bought my home from him last August in the West End Area. I and the other recent homeowners have experienced anything but quality and professionalism from this Builder. In fact, we can not get the Builder to respond to our phone calls regarding punch list items and warranty issues. He took our money and walked away. This is not my first new home. Usually the builder will provide the homeowner with a Warranty Package which includes your warranty documents, a contact and number for warranty related issues along with a small sample of each of the paints. With this Builder, you are on your own. The warranty package consists of the "package documents" for the items installed left all over the house, a hand written list of the subcontractors and NO contact or telephone number for warranty issues from the Builder. We have had numerous water leaks, unsafe electrical issues and now we are starting to develop structural issues and yet again can not get the Builder to respond. I will not buy another one of his homes and am concerned that I have bought a beautiful lemon!!!
