I took my 4 Y old daughter for a Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale requested by her school admission
We are very disappointed by the service and experience we received . The testing environment was not tailored for 4 Y old child
The teacher was talking to my daughter as an adult, My daughter felt intimated and frightened to answer the questions .The test was administered in a private room. In the middle of testing the teacher came out and asked me if we speak different language at home . I told her although we can speak different language but we speak English all the time . She went back and finished the test . She came out and told me that it is time to pay for the test and that my daughter did very well with the report to follow
Few days later the report was very disappointing and show underperformance in all aspect. this indicate the child was not cooperating to a reason . I requested reevaluate or repeating the test but this was declined . I was informed that they already sent a report to the school. Now My daughter will have very low changed of getting into school given this adversary.
My daughter is always complemented in her school for her ability and talent
It seams to me that this place disregarding any accurate assessment of the child ability. Their main concern is obtain any result in the quickest way. The easiest thing to them is to failed your child and tell you good luck . come next year
