STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! These shady people stole my prescription medication, and my coach purse, stealing from a disabled veteran really classy. Apparently while their driver Andrew Elan was going through my car he failed to see the go pro camera recording him. Have fun with your felony conviction, hope it was worth it.

Wish I had read these reviews before I found out who my roadside assistance company had called to tow my car. After 2 frustrating hours of the original towing company not showing up, we went ahead and booked Echo Towing. Never again. I waited for an hour till their ETA, and when they didn't show up I called backed to inquire about the whereabouts of their driver. I was very civil in my tone, but the guy on the other line was downright rude and told me to wait for 20 mins. And he hung up on me! I went ahead and spoke to his supervisor about the level of courtesy his team has, and this guy not only cut me off but he hung up on me too! The worst possible customer service you could .ever imagine, Wish I could give them zero stars

worse towing company ever! they are shady, irresponsible, unreliable and whatever worse things you can call them. we called roadside assistance and ECHO AUTO TOWING is the towing company that they sent us. our car was towed for a simple flat tire 3am on a Friday 8/28/15. we were expecting our car to be delivered to the dealership early Friday morning 8/28/15. called the towing company at 9am Friday 8/28/15 and was told that they need paperworks from the dealership. called the dealership and requested for them to contact the towing company. called the towing company at 2pm Friday 8/28/15 and was told that vehicle is already delivered to the dealership. called the dealership at 6pm Friday 8/28/15 and was told that the vehicle was not with them. called the towing company again at 615pm 8/28/15 and towing company stated that they needed the Towing PO from roadside assistance (i called at 9am & 2pm and nobody bothered to tell me???). called the roadside assistance and roadside assistance stated that towing company should have contacted them early that day which is the correct process. roadside assistance called the towing company and was told & PROMISED that they will deliver the vehicle to the dealership early Saturday morning 8/29/15. called the dealership at 12pm Saturday 8/29/15, sure enough, dealership stated no one delivered our vehicle. called the towing company again and spoke with someone named "Andy" who is not in the office and is supposed to be the "on-call" person who doesn't seem to know anything (so why is she the on-call?). asked for the supervisors contact info which Andy refused to provide. called the roadside assistance again. roadside assistance called the towing company and towing company again PROMISED to deliver our vehicle on Monday morning 8/31/15 because they are closed on Sunday 8/30/15. I am at the end of my wits and who would not be. a simply flat tire who would have been fixed since Friday 8/28/15 had the vehicle been delivered to the dealership took 4 days in the towing company lot. today is Monday morning 8/31/15 and i called the towing company again and no one seems to know whats going on. called roadside assistance to take care of the problem and yet again towing company PROMISED to deliver the vehicle in an hour. we still do not know what will happen next but I want this company OUT OF BUSINESS.

Worst experience ever with this company. I waited over THREE hours for a tow earlier today. First they sent the wrong truck to tow my car out of a garage with very low clearance (I specifically asked for the wheel lift instead of flatbed). An hour and a half later, after I couldn't wait any longer, the extremely rude dispatcher told me he's already answered my questions and what else I wanted from him. When I told him I had to go to work, he said it was fine to leave the key in the car and "hopefully his driver will find it".

45 minutes after I left the car, he got on the phone and angrily asked why I didn't "think ahead" to pay the parking before I left. I politely explained I didn't know I could pay ahead and how I could have done that when the car was still stuck in the garage, and if he can help me out by getting the car out of the garage. I'd happy to immediately reimburse him. He rudely told me that's not possible and how I'd expect his company to pay for parking.

The entire experience is completely unacceptable and I will definitely make sure AAA and the car dealership are aware of this fiasco of a company.

Don't do business with Echo- you will be treated condescendingly to say the least.

Obviously I can't comment on the drivers for Echo because I've NOT met any of them!!

It's such a disgrace for stellar companies like AAA and Lexus to be affiliated with Echo Auto.

The delay to pick up your vehicle was caused by you not providing enough information about your vehicle. we sent two trucks to pick up your vehicle , first driver arrived within 30 minutes from the time you requested the service. but your vehicle was in a parking garage . and his truck doesn't fit the parking. After you agreed to leave your vehicle and the driver will pick it up unattended, he arrive and found out he can't pick up the vehicle because you didn't pay the parking garage fees. I hope we had a better communication with you in which we could have towed your vehicle faster and easier for you and us . Thank you and hope we give you a better service next time.

Great service! I called Echo Towing and they came within the ETA they told me on the phone. The driver who picked me up was kind and helpful! I would definitely use them again.

The ETA on my tow was about an hour and ten minutes. In reality, it took about an hour and forty five minutes. The tow truck driver was a really nice guy, but the dispatcher really had no customer service skills at all. I called to check on my tow after the ETA had passed and the dispatcher acted annoyed, like he could've cared less. I checked back 25 minutes later and no one answered after repeated attempts. Normally, I would've simply called another towing company, but I was pressed for time to get the car to my mechanic. Once the tow truck arrived, the tow was efficient, however getting a driver to my location seemed like pulling teeth and took quite a bit of goading. They ultimately got the job done, but I'd only use them as a last resort. I mean, I'm pretty reasonable, but I honestly can't recommend them. They take far too long to arrive and their customer service is about as helpful as a hole in a boat.

I called Echo auto Towing and they were here within 15 minutes (literally) after I called. They were very pleasant and courteous. The job was completed quickly and without a problem. I plan on using them again in the near future.

Great Service. I was stuck on the mud and the insurance company told me it would be an hour before anyone got there. They dispatched Echo Towing on a whim and he was there in 20 minutes. I was on my way less than 30 minutes after calling. This was my one experience with them but it was a positive one and they are at the top of my list if I ever need help again. Bravo.

if you need a tow, this is where to go! Honest, professional service with nearly 20 years experience in Houston area. And all at a good price. Won't go to anyone else again.

I scheduled ahead of time, though he said he was happy to pick me up in as little as 20 mins .Great communication on his way over to let me know his ETA. Five stars all the way.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I'm so happy I looked at these reviews before this company came out. My roadside assistance scheduled this company for me. My ETA was 2:13. At 3 I called Echo Auto to find out where the driver was, someone answered the phone and hung up. I called back and a very rude man answered the phone. I asked him what was going on, he asked for my car type and went silent. I said, "Hello" to see if he was still there and he goes, "What do you want!? To hold a conversation or to look the car up!? What DO YOU WANT!?" I understand that everyone has bad days but that was AWFUL customer service. I told him that he was lacking customer service skills and he told me that I would have to call roadside assistance again because he could not find my request.

Then, out of nowhere, I received a call from a tower who said that he was "getting out of bed to get on down to my car" I asked if he even knew where I was located (because he sounded like he just woke up and had no clue what was going on) and he had the complete wrong address. After I got off the phone with him I type in the company and similar negative reviews popped up! I am so happy that I looked and was able to get another towing service out to my car.

I wish I would have read the reviews for this company before my roadside assistance gave them my business. 0 stars is too good. They showed up hours late to pick up my car, and when the driver finally did, he was on his phone the entire time. Because it was nighttime, they told me they would take my car to a storage unit and drop it off at the dealership first thing in the morning. When I called the dealership at 8:30 the following morning, they told me my car was nowhere to be found. I called echo towing and they told me that I would have to get a hold of my roadside assistance and request another purchase order. Not at all what the driver had told me the evening before. When I called back to get an ETA, the man was very rude to me, as if I was inconveniencing him with my business. Then had the nerve to hang up on new when I asked for clarification. STAY AWAY!! They do not deserve anyone's business! What a waste of time!

BEWARE!!!! If you actually need road side assistance don't bother calling this company! They'll leave you stranded for hours and treat you like its your fault that they take hours to get to you. Even though they're supposed ETA was hours prior. I was referred to them through Nationwide who explained to me that Agero is the third party company who chooses what company to send your way. If this is your situation I would suggest letting them know you don't want Echo Auto Towing as your road side assistance. You'll be waiting for hours.

HORRIBLE company that I would give no stars if I could. I waited 4hrs for them to show up with a flat bed wrecker and when you call them it just rings and you get a message that the mail box is full. When my insurance company called the dispatcher we were told they were at 610 and only 20mins away. After another hour my insurance called Lightening towing which was amazing and came in an hour. So finally at 1230 at night I get towed home while I had sat in the heat waiting for this horrible company to show. I hope my insurance company stops using them !!

I have NEVER been more disappointed in a service. I have been a State Farm customer for over six years now and never been in a wreck. I had a flat at Kroger and We called State Farm roadside assistance and Echo Towing came out to take my car to discount tire. We were going to pick my car up in the morning because it was a Sunday evening and discount tire was closed. The next morning we noticed the towing company (echo) had broken the front bumper. They won't take responsibility for it when even service king (a seperate entity) deemed that it was damage from them. I have talked to over 50 people in different departments of State Farm and agero and this STILL has not been fixed. I want answers!

DO NOT GO WITH ECHO TOWING OR STATE FARM they are crooks who know what to make me pay a 500 deductible for something I didn't do and something they did while I was using a service I pay for.

Echo who? I never met them. I waited 5 hours; two of which were after waiting three hours for them to arrive at their initial scheduled time. Their phone would ring and ring and ring...leading to a message saying not to leave a message, goodbye. Progressive needs to end their contract, and find a more reliable towing service to send their business. Calls to progressive did lead to an eta text sent from echo's automated service. Two hours after that time, progressive (after being on hold for 20minutes) told me they (echo) cancelled the tow. Echo you've wasted my day. Congratulations.

Wow, after waiting two hours on the side of the road for the "30 minutes away" tow truck, I decided to pass the time by reading this company's reviews. I must say, they are spot on. I didn't choose this company, they were the company sent by Nationwide insurance (which makes you question the integrity of Nationwide to be honest.) Here are some highlights of my Echo experience.

-broke down on I-45 south at 1:00 pm and called Nationwide for my "roadside assistance"

-told by Nationwide that they would dispatch their chosen tow company and that they confirmed it would be about an hour wait. not optimal but fair enough.

-2:00 still no sign, called Echo and got a "mailbox full" message.

-called Nationwide, they were somehow able to get in touch with Echo and told me "10 minutes away."

2:30 still no sign of Echo. "mailbox full", call nationwide, they call Echo, another "ten minutes away."

3:45 still no Echo. "mailbox full" rinse and repeat but wait! only "five minutes away!!" yippee!

4:25 (seriously) still no Echo. "mailbox full" (not sure why i kept trying to call them. hopeless optimist I guess. call to Nationwide. they call Echo and guess what they are now "30 minutes away!"

4:30 I say to hell with it and call another company and figure I'll just try and get reimbursed from Nationwide for my out-of-pocket expense.

5:30 finally get picked up by a different tow company and towed to a repair shop. end of story, right? . . . .

6:45!!! I kid you not. get a call from Nationwide's roadside assistance dispatcher "the tow driver is on scene but can't find you." 5 hours, 45 minutes after the initial dispatch! Echo Auto Towing. I really can't fathom doing any worse than this joke of a company.

side note: you CAN get reimbursed for using a different service. if your insurance company sends Echo, kindly laugh and tell them no thanks.

My husband had car trouble this morning and called Echo Towing. NEVER use them. They're rude, over an hour late (i called someone else eventually), and the refused to talk to me, the owner of the car, while I was sitting and waiting for them to show up. I had called 3x trying to get an accurate eta since I have kids in the car, and also appointments I have to make today. The man told me that if I got angry with him that he'd hang up. I'm not an angry person. I did not yell, and I definitely did not curse at the man. He hung up without me saying another word. I tried to call back and he didn't answer at all. please, for the love of god, people... don't be mean to your customers!!!

Waited three hours. Guy said he was 20 minutes away after I waited two hours... after 30 minutes I decided not to wait any longer and found another company. I was told to use them by my insurance company - I am sure they have a contract with them so I am going to call and let them know this is the worst company I have ever had to deal with.
