AHS sent DnB to my home for a Hot Water Heater repair. I was told that it had to be replaced by the first technician Billy and that there would be $415.00 additional charge which I had no issue with. I received a call the morning of informing there was a cancellation and if they could come by earlier, I replied yes! When the technician arrived Jorge you didn't speak to my husband but asked the question "your hot water heater is not in the garage"? He replied no it's upstairs in the attic.I heard the conversation and started heading to the hallway and Jorge look at me and said " you have your payment"? No hello, how are you, good morning nothing. So I replied I'm aware of the additional money but I will pay when services are rendered. He sighed with an angry look, tone in his voice and unconcerned demeanor. Very disrespectful especially coming into someone home with an attitude. I called the office spoke to Amanda to let her know how rude he was as well as he wanted to collect the additional payment before the service was rendered. She stated that was company policy but nowhere on the invoice does it state that disclosure. Nevertheless after speaking with her on speaker I asked Jorge did he hear the conversation that I would pay upon completion of the repair. He was standing there but bluntly said NO. Now, I'm in disbelief you would lie directly to my face in my home to perform a repair. He proceeded to call the office questioning my integrity at this point. He then went outside for a period of time before reentering stating we are going to do the repair. The entire time he was not happy at all as it clearly showed on his face which left me uneasy as to what type of service was I going to receive. His supervisor Billy called to find out what the problem was and said he would come by after the job was done to ensure the hot water heater was installed correctly and working. That he did,so kudos to Billy for saving the day or DnB would have received a very bad review.

Horrible service! I would not choose them if I have the choice, as they were chosen by my warrantee company. My water heater problem is still going for 2 weeks and they keep saying they ordered the parts. I call to inquire and they say they will call me back but never do!! Extremely disappointing!

They were assigned on Saturday by my home warranty company to repair my water heater. Today is Tuesday, the service is authorized, and they are telling me to wait until Friday to have the boiler replaced. It will be 1 week in the cold without water heater!

Wow...very wary of this compan...

Wow...very wary of this company at outset due to all the negative reviews, so much so that I had another plumber visit after my home warranty company sent DNB. His diagnosis was identical and pricing higher. I must admit that I am a true fan now that I've had DNB in my home. Their representative plumbers were all very experienced and courteous and worked with me to fix my "out of code" problems in a manner that was affordable, HOA -friendly and esthetically pleasing. Val (office) was very candid and knowledgeable. I would unequivocally recommend DNB to anyone needing a plumber. Thanks Robert, Giovanni and Juan. Nice work.

Who owns DNB

Who really owns DNB. Is it David Nathaniel Bailey or Valerie? All depends on who is investigating them. They are under review by the Texas Attorney General's Office and the Texas State Plumber's Association from what I hear from other plumbing companies. Will the real owner please admit to owning this terrible business?

Long time DNB customer

DNB plumbing made at least four different repairs on various bathrooms in my home. I have always been impressed with the helpfulness and courtesies of DNB's plumbers, who have never hesitated to stay as late as necessary to correct whatever problem they've encountered.



DNB is the first company I thought of when my kitchen sink started leaking. I recommend DNB without hesitation.

NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

3 years after having my water heater replaced by DNB it went out, since the water heater was still under warranty by DNB I called them. It is now day 4 and I still do not have a water heater. Apparently they had replaced the old water heater with a new water heater that had been recalled by the manufacture and the only thing they could do was wait for the manufacture to send the replacement part before they could repair it. This was per the Manager Val who by the way was very rude and hung up the phone on me. After that I decided that just to replace the water heater which cost me $750.00. I would not recommend DNB Plumbing to anyone because if something goes wrong with the job that they did, good luck in having it repaired right away. I wish I would have know that the water heater that they had installed was defective then I would have not purchased one from them. I do not about you but taking a shower in cold water for 4 days is unacceptable. I will make sure all my friends and anyone that will listen to me about DNB.

I AM THE OWNER AND MANAGER OF DNB HOME SERVICES. I HAVE BEEN IN THE BUSINESS FOR 20 YEARS AND MAKE IT A PRACTICE TO INFORM ANY CALLER THAT USES THE PROFANITY, THAT THIS PERSON DIRECTED TOWARDS ME, THAT I WILL BE HANGING UP IF THEY CAN NOT CONTROL THEMSELVES ON THE PHONE AND ACT MATURE. THIS PERSON USED THE F WORD IN EVERY SENTENCE WHICH IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE TO ME WHEN SPEAKING TO ME OR MY STAFF. OUR POLICY IS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE TO INFORM CUSTOMERS THAT WE WILL BE HANGING UP IF IT CONTINUES AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. HE THEN CONTINUED TO CALL BACK SCREAMING IN THE PHONE ABOUT ME HANGING UP ON HIM USING THE SAME LANGUAGE UNTIL I HAD TO INFORM HIM THAT IF THIS HARRASSMENT CONTINUED, I WOULD FILE A REPORT. MR TONYBUENO WAS A CUSTOMER IN 2003 WHICH WHEN HE HAD HIS WATER HEATER INSTALLED. WE WARRANTY ALL HWH PARTS FOR 2 YEARS AND THE MFG DOES THE SAME. WE WENT TO THE HOME AND TOLD HIM WHAT PART WAS NEEDED AND DID NOT EVEN CHARGE HIM TO DO THIS DIAGNOSIS. UNFORTUNATELY, THE MFG HAS SINCE CHANGED THE DESIGN FOR THE HWH AND THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE SAME DAY. I HAD INFORMED A GENTLEMAN THAT HAD CALLED 5 MINUTES BEFORE TONYBUENO AND HE WAS COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD AND I WAS GOING TO GO OUT OF MY ORDINARY POLICY AND NOT CHARGE HIM FOR THE PART WHEN IT CAME IN DUE TO HIS INCONVENIENCE. MR TONYBUENO CALLED 5 MINUTES LATER, I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT HE MAY WANT TO TALK TO THE OTHER GENTLEMAN AND AT THIS POINT HE JUST BLASTED ME, THREATENING THAT IF I DIDN'T HAVE A WATER HEATER REPAIRED TODAY BY 5PM, THAT I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM TALKING TOO AND I WOULD SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO ME. I INFORMED HIM, I WAS NOT OBLIGATED TO HIM AS A CUSTOMER SINCE THERE WERE NO FUNDS GIVEN AND THIS HEATER IS WAY OUT OF OUR WARRANTY POLICY. HE NEEDED TO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY THAT WOULD BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH HIS TEMPER. I AM SURE THAT WHEN YOU READ GOOD REVIEWS AND THEN YOU READ REVIEWS LIKE THIS, IT IS CONFUSING TO OUR CUSTOMERS. OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE KNOWN US FOR 20 YEARS AND THE REASON WHY I DON'T HAVE TO SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY FOR ADVERTISING IS BECAUSE WORD OF MOUTH IS YOUR GREATEST AD. WE HAVE CONTINUED TO KEEP OUR CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION AS A PRIORITY AND NOT THE $$$$$$. I FELT THAT I HAD TO RESPOND TO THIS PERSON, I WAS RAISED IN A CHRISTIAN FAMILY AND FEEL THAT NO MATTER HOW FRUSTRATED YOU ARE WITH A SITUATION, YOU SHOULD NEVER SPEAK TO ANY OTHER PERSON IN THIS MANNER. IT IS CALLED HAVING A GOOD SOLID MORAL CHARACTER WHICH I KNOW THAT MY STAFF AND I STRIVED TO HAVE EVERYDAY.
