Cute authentic place. Think family style when ordering, not individual portions. Prices were good..

Great place recommend bone in rib eye

My wife and I came to Del Frisco's to celebrate finding out that we are going to be parents! WOOHOOOO! What better way to celebrate that kind of news than a night out at the best steak house in town! We didn't have reservations and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. My wife obviously couldn't drink but I had a glass of their house wine. They have a huge list of wines so I just asked their sommelier for some recommendations and decided hey! we're at del frisco's! Ill have their wine! Definitely delicious. I ended up buying a full bottle to save after our baby is born, so my wife and i can have it together! We ordered off of their power couples menu because after all... we just made a baby so we must be a power couple right?! The filet mignon was perfection. Neither my nor I am a big seafood fan but I gave their crab cake a try and actually liked it! My wife however still didn't want to eat it. Oh well. LEFTOVERS FOR ME! We also both got baked potatoes and they were also amazing. The wait staff is very helpful and very attentive! We wont get too many more nights with just us two so you can bet we will be back quite a few times before the little one comes in January. Thanks for being awesome Del Frisco's!

Went for a birthday celebration with 6 of my friends. We all ordered various steaks and fish off the Houston Restaurant week menu. Being what I thought as an upscale restaurant, the steak was below average and quite dissapointing. The dessert wasn't any better. I had the worst strawberry cheesecake I ever had in my life. The worst part of it all is that all of us got sick (diarrhea and vomiting) throughout the night. One of us had to go to the doctor's because he couldn't intake any food. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I gave 4 stars because the food and service was great, but we had a large group and had to split our own check. A nice restaurant like this doesn't have the technology to split a check? I mean come on Burger King can split a check! They brought us a calculator and we had to figure out tax and gratuity for each couple... If you want a nice meal and only gonna pay for one check, or don't mind working the calculator, then this place is great... But if I'm going to spend that much on a dinner, the least they can do is use the money they made off our table to go buy a better computer system that will allow them to split checks...
