My daughter living in NYC sent me flowers from D. Brown. ($125 PLUS delivery) I received 2 hydrangeas ($5 retail) stuffed with white berries, Dusty Miller leaves and 2 other "fillers". A $12 "bouquet" I would have passed up at my neighborhood Krogers. Clearly a case of " the client lives out of town and will never see this order so let's use the leftovers". I sent photos to the Manager - he blamed "the new girl" and agreed the arrangement was "not worthy" and INSISTED they would re-deliver on Monday. (Oh - but reminded me to return their clear glass vase when they re-delivered!!) It is Wednesday evening - no attempt to deliver - not even a phone call - NOTHING. Perhaps he discovered I don't deliver enough revenue on a regular basis to warrant "keeping a customer happy." Beware if you are planning a special event - this florist could ruin your special day.
