For all those who are seeking to work with the Italian consulate of Houston...let me tell you that you will be sorely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and stature. To begin with, GOOD LUCK trying to get someone to answer the phone when you call. They are apparently overflowed with work and have not considered staffing the office in order to efficiently and effectively get matters done. Either that or I regret to say they just don't care. And I say that by the way they treat you as you come in...I feel like I'm at the DMV when I'm there- theyre rude, inconsistent, dont return calls when leaving a message and quite frankly have the worst customer service I have encountered in any Consolate I've been to. I write this in hopes that maybe someone there will read this and consider reevaluated their cirriculum and they way they go about it. I can't even imagine what someone goes through who does'nt live in Houston- If i'm going nuts,they by now have gone mad. Please Improve !
