I've recently visited Bushi Ban Clear Lake and I had heard about troubles there in the past, but it seems the new senior master has made dramatic changes to the whole dojo! the staff are extremely polite and take good care of guests or trial members. the power-kickboxing class leads to amazing results and is an extremely effective cardio-workout! even though in the past there had been a few difficulties with the old senior master, the new one has started a completely new dojo policy with great treatment and excellent information! for everyone that is looking forward to getting into MMA or trying to loose some weight Bushi Ban Clear Lake is a great place to go to! I can only recommend it to everybody outthere

I have never been treated so badly by a staff from a business of this type. I was 30 minutes late due to a death and when I walked in the staff member shouted from 5 feet away that I have to pay the late fee. I gathered my son and she said it again you have to pay the late fee. I told I do not have cash on me but I will pay on tomorrow and she was adamant about getting the cash. She was told by the owners to get the money up front and he confirmed that the next day and told me that they have had many complaints on this staff member and he will speak with her. My son told me the same staff member was making ugly faces at him and calling him crybaby. I came one time to pick up my son and after signing him out the owner chased me out the door and grabbed my son out of my hands. My son was screaming and crying! It is the worst place I have ever trusted my son to anyone! They called the police and they kept my son until my family member arrived to pick him up. It was very traumatic!
