Clear Lake Christian School is an independent, Christ-centered, college preparatory school for preschoolers through twelfth grade. Unique to the CLCS campus is an atmosphere of exploration, curiosity and an eager pursuit to know our Creator as well as His creation. Children have a natural propensity to learn and we want to foster the love of learning in each student. To achieve this goal, we are strong proponents of the classical method of education, which classifies learning into three stages: grammar, logic and rhetoric. These are known as the liberal arts. Mastery in each stage liberates the student from dependency on a teacher and equips them to learn how to learn. For centuries, the classical method of learning has produced individuals who have made some of the greatest contributions to society. We are honored to have obtained duel accreditation from the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and AdvancED (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools). To compliment our compelling academic program, we offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities to allow students to find and strengthen their passions. Character and leadership skills will be strengthened through activities such as the arts, athletics, clubs, and community service. Your child will have opportunities at CLCS to discover their unique place in Gods kingdom and develop skills that will be of use to them well into their adult years. Whether on the stage, on the field, or in the classroom, your child will be known by name and guided intentionally by our caring faculty and staff.
