Not only was the food great, but the atmosphere was very spacious and comfortable... I would definitley recommend this restraunt...

Visited on 7/11/14 @ 2:30pm, outside was un-attended with weeds growing out of ground and side of building and grass area needed to be cut and trees trimmed (that would be a nice sitting area). Worst part was that my kids had to wait several minutes to get their fried chicken wings order. When I inquired the first time, the large man with the sweater hat did not immediately go see what was taking so long, he first kept talking to his friend who had walked in to visit. After he did go see what was the delay, he returned to only say that it would be 5 more minutes and that "you know we don't under-cook no chicken". After 7 minutes, I asked the clerk at the cash register who seemed bothered that I was asking her, and then surprised that we had not received our order. She instructed the large man to get up from sitting at a table in the dining room and go see what was the status on the order. He returned and told her that it would be 6 minutes more, she in-turn relayed the message to me, again stating that it takes 20 minutes for fried chicken. ??? in 2014? How does it take so long to fry 8 small chicken wings?! My wife had finished her meal and our kids were still waiting. This place is garbage!!! They were not apologetic at all. When I got my kid's food, I was told again by the other lady working behind the steam table, "I don't know if they told you, but it takes 20 minutes for fried chicken". Really! Not only was I not told that, but why would it take so long in an urban neighborhood to prepare a simple meal. Is there no prep-work being done to shorten the time? Ridiculous. Worst $44.06 I've ever spent. The staff should have recognized the order was mixed with their steam table food and fried food and advised us of the delay. But in turn only offered excuses. The meat on the ox tails was 40% fat and the corn bread was not moist was cold and grainy, plus the rice was hard as undercooked, poor quality for the prices. I didn't even bother eating the rest of my meal. This place is sad.

Came in today4/6/14 wasnt to happy with the service, very slow. Tables were dirty with plates with left over food on them. Been their before, food has always been good. Place is just a little dirty. Carpet needs to be taken up. If you stand by the door near the fish tank, is nasty and sticks to your shoes.might give them another chance, if not guess I'll ride across town to this is it. SORRY.

This is my second and last experience with this establishment. The first and second time I went in this lady I guess the manager that keeps her hair back in a bun was SUPER rude not only with me but she talked about the owner to me but when she walked in she was smiling all in her face. The owner is not professional at all. I ordered shrimp not only are they way over priced and money hungry but the shrimp were the size of jelly beans with a old taste that later had me ill. They need to get more educated on how to treat paying customers, how to cook and how to charge reasonably. Warning. The desserts are store bought along with some of the food. How do I know....? One of there own workers announced it! So sad!!!!

The food is great and the workers are very kind. The facility has been clean every time I went in there and I have never saw a bug. I would take my kids there to eat and Lord knows how much I care about them. I think the first review was meant to be malicious rather than alarming.

This restaurant has good food. The workers tend to be a little slow sometimes but that is ok. They do a great job! I did not see any type of bugs, roaches etc. The place was nice and clean. but they need to open a bigger location off 290 and have something like a buffet working..... The plates have enough on them to feed two people. So I don't understand the opinion of the previous reviewer. The pork chops and sweet potatoes are great!



Talkin bout some good food!!!!

the food is cold its nasty the greens are dirty they have roaches,flies,and gnats

the owner is areal problem workers are very slow they have the worst attitudes you

could possibly imagine the utensils are never clean the tables are never clean

and they cheat you out of your money
