If u are over the age of 25 looking to have a great time with good food. And drinks as well as a friendly environment. Your at right place! The staff is very customer friendly and want to make your night very enjoyable.. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who id was looking to have a great time!

My best Friend Misti planned her 40th something birthday party here 2weeks ago..We were very pleased and impressed from the time we walked in..Our reserved area was served by a private waitress. Never had to look for her.The Food was served nice and neat and honestly good..Its a grown person atmosphere..To sum it up it was well worth the drive and making plans to go again..

when for my birthday celebration. First time there music is great, people friendly but drinks are expensive. Can't wait to go back!!

Don't waste your time at this place! You're treated like a criminal as soon as you walk in the place. Owners require you to pay for your dirty grease tasting food and over prices drinks before you received them. There are classier clubs nearby...I suggest avoiding this ghetto club.

Wow Wednesday night 7:30 pm Im looking for a place to watch the bulls and heat playoff game. I just moved here from Chicago and a few friends at work told me about this and for obvious reasons i felt intrigued to check this place out. I get off work, hot day so i Change clothes (casual wear) and head out. i walk in thinking Im about to fill my stomach up, have a cold one, watch my team play ball, & most of all support a business started by people from back home. To my surprise not even a minute of being there. A super old lady comes outta left field and says "you can't wear shorts in here" What!? This is f ing Houston tx. Its May! So much for a restaurant. Who in the hell enforces a dress code policy at 7:30 pm on a Wednesday night. After quickly seeing she had no courtesy or accommodation to offer me and taking a look around and seeing a mostly empty spot with a small group of old heads who clearly didn't desire my presence there (one of which was wearing shorts! Thankfully I was mature enough to bite my tounge & not call this horrible establishment or that person out on the spot) i politely left and decided to write my first review on Yp.. It clearly had nothing to do with me wearing some damn shorts. There was no sign indicating this policy when you walk in.. Its a shame really, i was hoping to bond with this place. Definitely not representing Chicago well and need to take Chicago out its name because without it, This place is worth nothing.Please don't support a place like this. I know I wont

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY!!! During a recent disagreement with my brother and a fellow patron, I observed the chaos that occurred afterwards. The Security Officers stood and watched while we (retired and current law enforcement) took control of the situation. The Security Officers removed my brother to allow a full fledged brawl to occur on the parking lot until the other parties heard sirens and fled. They refused to allow us to return to retrieve our prepaid food, purses, cell phones and other items and even though we did not initiate the altercation, they forfeited our prepaid funds. I have been a patron of this establishment since it opened, but I will NEVER go back again. This is NOT A SAFE PLACE, nor is it a place where customers are treated with respect.

Chicago Bar and Grill has a smooth atmosphere coupled with great food and outstanding service. I've never had a bad meal there or even a 'just OK' experience. Definitely try the drink assortment and their fine entrees. Their desserts are yummy too. A cold long island iced tea and a flame broiled chicago bulls burger with double meat, bacon and swiss are perfect complements to the lovely staff and atmosphere.

I love the grown folk atmosphere, the food and the drinks! I do think a $10 cover charge is a bit much for what I consider a neighboorhood bar. I can remember when there was no cover charge. I do understand a cover charge on Sunday for the Live Music, because I know the band has to be compensated. With most drinks at $10 and the cover charge, I think you keep alot of people who would come more often from coming. I know it keeps myself, my husband and friends and their companions from coming as much as we would like to. I heard this from many other people. I'm just saying...... Thanks

I CAME IN ON 02-29-2012 VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW I WAS TREATED BY YOUR BAR TENDER!!!!! ORDER 2 BEERES AND WOW IT COST ME $28.00 HE WANTED TO ARGUE BUT I REFUSED TO ARGUE WITH I WENT AHEAD AND PAID THE $28.00, I TOLD HIM IT WASN'T ABOUT THE MONEY BUT HE INSISTED THAT I PAY HIM $28.00. I TOLD HIM I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OTHE 2 DRINKS MY FRIENDS SENT ME BUT AGAIN HE INSISTED. NOWHERE TO GO IN NORTH HOUSTON, I GUESS I"LL GO BACK TO THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF HOUSTON,TX, AND WILL TELL EVERYBODY I KNOW NOT TO GO THERE BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY TREAT THIER CUSTOMERS. I WISH YOU GUYS WOULD JUST THINK OF THE CUSTOMERS SOMETIMES.......

The food and atmosphere is phenomenal! I went there over the weekend and Chicago Bar and Grill was packed with good music and fun people. I particularly think the service is excellent. I'm going back and I would recommend this CBG to anyone.
