Established in 1928 and based in Houston, CBS Radio is one of the largest radio operators in the United States with stations covering news, alternative rock, country and classic rock music programs, old songs and urban formats. A division of CBS Corporation, CBS Radio operates more than 145 radio stations throughout the country. Its audio streams of more than 90 stations and custom channels are available online. CBS Radio also operates a podcast-programmed radio station, KYOURADIO, and offers more than 100 regularly scheduled podcasts through its news and talk stations. The company has a partnership with Westwood One for providing stations with news, sports, weather, music, talk and entertainment programs. In addition, CBS Radio owns the CBS Radio Network, which provides regular newscasts to more than 1,500 news and talk formatted stations.
