I've been eating here for about 20 years now. I once managed the Superior Waterbeds (early 90's) that was about a block away on I-45. That's when I got adicted.



Their salsa is unique and the best I've ever had by far. It's got bite, not the mild tomato based bland sauce of so many copycat Tex-Mex places. I have a favorite here that is also not just the same ol' stuff you always see on the menu everywhere. Try the beef tip burrito dinner. It's to die for, expecially drenched in their salsa. The rice and refried beans served with it are nothing special. If they ever add barracho bean soup or some spicy black beans with pico or something as special as the main entree and salsa this will be the best meal on the planet!



The location is nothing to brag about. It's not fancy or elegant. It's way out of my way to go there and the atmosphere is somewhere just above a fast food joint. But don't let that keep you from trying this incredible dining experience. It is truely something special in a world of ordinary.
