I had been wanting to get lash extensions for a while so I purchased a groupon for Butterfly Lash Lounge. It was fairly cheap compared to other groupons for lash extensions so I thought I had gotten a good deal. Wrong! The saying you get what you pay for definitely applies here. The application process took close to an hour and went fairly smooth. The lashes looked ok but were too long, thick and fake looking IMO. I guess this was due to the fact that she didn't really get much input from me as to the look I was going for. This was partly due to my not having gotten them before and not knowing there were different styles you can get and also partly due to her not taking the time to inform me about my options. Who knows, maybe the lashes she used were the only ones she had. I could live with the lashes not being exactly what I wanted. The problem was that they were 75% gone by the end of the first week. They actually started falling out right after I left the Butterfly Lash Lounge. Even worse than that was that my natural lashes were half the length that they were before getting the extensions. Not sure what happened but now I have practically non-existent lashes that will take months to grow back. I usually don't write reviews but I am wring this one to hopefully help someone make an informed decision about The Butterfly Lash Lounge.
