The food is GOOD. The peach cobbler is DEVINE. But the attitude of the lady serving the steamtable could use some adjusting. I plan to return for more peach cobbler,(it is just that good to me)but now I know,before exiting my vehicle, i hv to adjust my attitude to accomodate the attitude of at least one staff member.On Christmas eve, I purchased a whole pan of peach cobbler. When i told the young lady my desire,she was very informative. She yelled at me "It's gon cost you $20.00!".As if it is out of the ordinary to purchase an entire pan of peach cobbler. She proceded to the back to get one for me. When she returned,she handed me a wrapped pan. I didnt look at it the contents.I payed for it and went home.After serving Christmas dinner i unwrapped my cobbler only to discover it was hard, black, burned, and almost unedible. I refused to be outdone. I ate around the burned parts and added ice cream to soften up my portions. Wjen i returned to tell the manager,he asked me did i bring ot with me. I dont live near there, so i dont go often and it was now after New Year's. He was very apathetic. But i had returned to purchase, yes!, another peach cobbler. This time i decided to buy a more common size.Large. This same person decided to let me know in a loud voice that it would be $10.00! For some reason she feels the need to scold you if you buy any size larger than small. I replied that the price didnt matter. She said "Well,I'm just lettin' you know 'cause you might wanna change yo mind!I told her "No, i didnt drive all the way over here just to change my mind.I just took my cobbler home, placed a SMALL amount in my favorite dish,warmed it and placed ice cream(BBHV)on top(this time by choice)and ate myself into a peaceful oblivion. I will return to Burt's after the lent fast has ended just to do it all over again!
