I have heard many residents complain about the disgusting dumpsters and pools. Rats getting into the apartments. And you can't call for service, you have to go to the office to put in a work order, and they always lose at least the first one. Our dishwasher literally caught on fire and I called for emergency maintenance because I couldn't pull it out to unplug it - they didn't even come to look at it for three days. The swimming pools are almost never usable. It is Memorial Day weekend and the pools were closed on Saturday. I asked at the office and was told by Farah that they would be open on Sunday. They were closed on Sunday and I was told they would be open at 10 a.m. on Monday. It is 1 p.m. Monday and all pools are locked and filthy and no one answers the phone at the office. I have lived here for 10 years and this is typical for the summers. When I complained last summer, I was told by Margaret "The pools are amenities and we can take those away any time and there is nothing you can do about it." Leaky roofs, rats, dogs barking all day long, drug deals in the parking lots at night, and pond-scum pools are common issues here. My son and several neighbors have had their car windows smashed by thieves. A man walked into the courtyard one evening as children were out there playing and he shot twice through the window of a downstairs apartment. Good luck taking complaints to Margaret - she can usually be found relaxing in front of the office, drink in one hand, cigarette in the other.

This company does not care about the well being of their tenants. Almost all of my neighbors have complained about broken A/C, leaks, poor plumbing, mold, rude staff, the list can go on and on. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The majority of the people only live here because they want to attend the excellent elementary it is zoned to, that is the only reason I live here or I would move out like NOW.
