Our pediatrician refered us to Dr. Bohan and I absolutely would not reccomend his practice. After my initial visit with him (before he met my child), I walked out with a list of medications, including an antipsychotic drug, that my three-year-old could possibly need to be prescribed. After meeting with her, he ordered an MRI of her brain and chromosonal testing. He also said it was imperative that we get her into the local school district's pre-k special education program and wrote a letter of reccomendtaion to the district. He said the MRI results would be back in a few business days after the procedure and the blood work results would take two months to get back. However, he wasn't interested in seeing her again for another four months and we left knowing what we knew before we saw him. Our child has a learning disability. After waiting on pins and needles for almost two weeks after the MRI, I started calling his office. His receptionist is very rude and told me several times she did not have a free moment to help me and I would just have to call back. Finally I caught her at a good moment and she told me they had the results from the MRI for a week and weren't going to make an effort to inform me because they were normal. I politely requested that she forward the information to our pediatrician, as I had a meeting with him the next day. His office has yet to get anything from Dr. Bohan's office. After >$1000 out of pocket, much stress and effort on our family's part... I feel like my baby is just another number in his practice and we've gained no more insight to how we can help her.
