Bettencourt Tax Advisors did an excellent and timely job in resolving a complicated problem having to do with a homestead exemption. I recommend them highly.

Used BTA for one year. The results were abysmal. Your chances of reducing the appraised tax value are four times better if you represent yourself at the review. Just do a little research and bring everything you need to confirm your point and your chances are fair that there will be an adjustment. BTA walks in with 50 appeals and fights hard for a couple and gives in on all the rest. Remember who has a greater vested interest in reducing your property taxes, the owner or a company representing thousands.

Every year they have reduced my appraisal, this year most significantly. It's so much easier than doing it myself. Thank you!
