I tried Beck's Prime for the first time a couple of weeks ago, since my boyfriend had raved on and on about how he used to get their steak burger and milkshake everyday before work.



First of all, their milkshake was uber good! It's a real milkshake and not the premixed junk that comes out of a softserve machine. My boyfriend said I must have really liked it since drinking it was probably the longest I'd been quiet all day.



I also got their prime steak burger and fries, and to be really honest, I wasn't very impressed. Well, at least not for the money that I paid for the entire meal. The burger was about $8.50, and with the fries and shake, I think I paid about $15. That's pretty darn steep for fast food.



The steak juices had soaked the entire bottom burger bun so badly that I had to throw out the bottom bun. It was completely soggy and tasted gross. I loved that the fries were real cut fries, but they were completely limp and soft. I prefer crispy fries.



I really wanted to love this place as much as my boyfriend so maybe I'll give it one more try.
