Bart's seemed friendly enough on the phone but the reality was far different. My appointment was from 10-12 on a Monday. I was called and told they could only look at the project that day and would have to reschedule for two days later. They didn't give me a time until 30 minutes on Wednesday before the technician was to show up. I spent 8 hrs total waiting around for people to show up. At the first appointment Monday Clay Maupin gave me an estimate and said it could be more or less depending on the actual time it took. The job didn't take very long so I was shocked when I was charged the highball amount. When I requested an itemized bill (because they said they charged a service fee,materials and hourly) Clay called me back and tried to rip me a new one for non-payment. He didn't let me get a word in edgewise either to explain my request. Then he told me we "agreed" on the highball amount even though that wasn't true at all. I didn't want to deal with them any longer so I just paid with my Visa and they tacked on an extra 2% and an extra visa use charge on top of that. Very unprofessional service and demeanor. I would NOT recommend Bart's to ANYONE.
