Our experience with Vern at Houston's Auction Barn has been an absolute nightmare. When we first contracted with Vern to sell our household goods, he had weeks to come pick up the furniture in the house and miscellaneous items in the garage. After numerous excuses, he finally picked the final load just hours before we closed on the house. And of course they loaded up a few items that were not supposed to go. Now that our items have 99% been sold, he has been promising a final accounting and check since February 3rd! If you see oak book shelves in his pictures, those are ours that he just can't seem to sell but sure does get good use out of them. Maybe we could rent them to him?
