Nasty. Last night was the gucci mane concert and it was 18 and up. I should've known it was going to be a ghetto place with nothing but rude-not raised well kids. There's no point on buying VIP section if when it's an event like Gucci Mane, (the non vip are only going to go up there and sit on your section). The management was so unorganized. And to top it off Gucci Mane only performed for 15 min after the DJ was on stage for hrs telling everybody who wasn't a VIP member to scoot back. HOURS! we left before he came out to sing his 3 songs. Not worth the time. Period.

The venue is beautiful! The event I went to was amazing. The service was awesome, the set up was even better

Thanks Ann i had a bachelor party here and the place was live i really loved the club section of it great management and staff i would recommend to anyone and the price was right and none of the nonsense you get at other places

this venue is great and the staff were very friendly nice neighbourhood i attend a work function here and everything about it was very professional

I feel like I had to give the Ayva Center some cred for hosting the most awesome show I've seen in quite some time. I'm sure it would've been awesome in any venue, but give everyone here credit. Great time it was amazing. VO

My experience at Ayva center was wonderful from start to finish. We knew we wanted an unusual venue, and I had been a bit hesitant to look at the Ayva center because, as an avid fan of the contemporary look of a venue, but I knew that some of the spaces could use some refreshing. But when I saw the Lobby and renovation to the main rooms, I was sold!

Our wedding at the Ayva Center was amazing. Everything was A+. The process from start to finish in planning everything for our wedding day was seemless and great. The team at the Ayva is top notch. The food was great, the location was ideal, and the attention to detail was perfect.

the hall and service was great, also is their food was excellent, however, particularly the main course, which they managed to serve warm and simultaneously to all the guests on a particularly cold night.

(Tmak) This is a hands down venue people, from the management to the team and vendors, they are the best, my event went very very good, hands down once again, thsi is a 5 star venue

ii attended a concert there and the sound and lighting was great, it also had good space.i would recommend this place to anyone.OV

I rented this banquet hall for a party it was great and the service is also great would recommend

I have attended 2 wedding/receptions at Ayva; one in January and one July, 2012. Both events were stand in line for room temperature food with small portions of dry roasted potatoes and tasteless chicken. Later, I saw the waitstaff walking out with plastic grocery sacks of food. Why serve the guests when they were feeding their families.

The cash bar was charging $8 for 5 oz mixed drinks.

The Mother of the Groom wanted to take home the extra (dry) cupcakes and asked for a to-go box so asked the room manager a couple times and he never came with boxes. With what you pay for cakes and cupcakes, one would think you could take home the extras.

The ladies' room was not cleaned during the event and was over run by paper and water around a couple toilets.

The waitstaff was slow about cleaning empty plates from the tables. Gross!

I feel badly for the couples who had to pay for such poor service.

Had my reception at the Ayva Center, the food and service was excellent. The hall was clean and decorated beautifully. The food was being refilled often, the bartenders were friendly. The staff and management were very accommodating. And the prices were well worth it! I would highly recommend Ayva Center.

The facility is beautiful, well maintained, and always clean. The staff and management are always extremely nice and accomodating.

Excellent place and great food for any event in Houston. I had a great time while attending a wedding reception in August. Highly recommended. This is #1 Houston Banquet.

First I want to thank Ann and her husband Alex, they owners at Ayva Center...for everything and their kindness!

This place is excellent and great for events. They were both understanding and kind at all times. They didn't try to drain you out of your money either. I had my wedding reception here in April of this year and when I walked into the room I was speechless. My husband and I were very please with the way ever thing looked. We were also very pleased with all the great service (beginning to end). Waiters and bartenders were very friendly. The food was great! I didn't hear any complains from our guest.

This place is a must see and try out. Excellent place, excellent service and excellent food. Also, the price is very reasonable!

I have no complaints/ no problems with my services with Ayva Center.

My wedding reception went as planned. I was so nerves at first but I shouldn't have been because everything promised was delieverd. The decore was amazing, my guest couldn't stop talking about it. The food was delicious. What really impressed me the most was how professional the staffs were and how everything that ayva center promised was exactly was delieverd...as if they had rehurst their lines or some sort. Overall, I will recommand this venue to anyone who wants to have a wedding reception or ceremonies.
