On 6/7/12 I visited Ava Furnit...

On 6/7/12 I visited Ava Furniture after browsing avafurniturehouston.com. There was a "4185 Bicast Black and Grey" sectional advertised for "June 2012 Special Price: $499". I called & spoke with Ava to check for availability before proceeding with the 50+ minute drive there. She told me to come check it out because it was currently on the floor. When I arrived the sectional was displayed in the very front of the store. The price tag was $799 instead of $499. When I showed the sales rep their website on my phone and the sectional advertised for $499 she claimed it was a mistake. She said the previous employee "messed up all the prices on the website". I asked her to call Ava to double check prices. Ava claimed their online advertisement was correct, BUT the sectional online is not the same one displayed on the floor. The photos on their website matches the sectional displayed on the floor exactly! I have plenty of photos to prove it. She showed me a photo of the $499 sectional from the wholesale factory's website, but it was not the same as the one advertised on avafurniturehouston.com. She claimed that it was the factory's fault for changing their photos.I went there for that sectional advertised online and I was determined to leave there with exactly that.I wanted to place an order that day and was told the delivery fee would be $60, but as soon as I started to pay for the sectional I was told delivery was $100.Ava said she'd pay the difference because of my troubles.The next day the sectional arrived but it was not the sectional I ordered. She delivered the sectional she showed me on mastermattressworks.net instead.To make matters worse, it was not "new from the factory" as promised.This sectional had bird droppings on the pillow, a severe scratch on the leather arm rest & brown stains on the seat cushions. I called Ava and her solution was to give us a $50 discount.I said NO.She said she'll get me another one,but instead she called Monday to inform me that it was the last sectional available and the factory no longer carries that sectional. So she said she'd refund me the money but it is now 7/6/12 I have not received my refund. She will not respond to my emails, calls or voice messages. Suddenly, her inbox is full so I can no longer leave messages and its as if my number is blocked because when I call it goes straight to voicemail!
